Specialist in building materials logistics
About us
The forwarding company Hans Liese
was founded in 1932 and is now in its third generation of family ownership. Since then, our company has been growing steadily. We currently employ almost 50 qualified and highly motivated employees.
The core business includes:
- Procurement and transport logistics in the building materials industry
- Transport of roof tiles, clinkers and paving stones
- Order picking of the goods
- Storage in halls independent of weather conditions or in open areas
Our fleet of more than 30 trucks has been specially adapted to the needs of our customers. Among other things, the trucks are equipped with all-terrain transportable forklifts or special cranes. The specialised personnel are trained in their operation, experienced and, of course, in possession of the necessary driving licences.
Due to our work at several locations, we maintain good business relationships with well-known clients, with whom we usually have a long-term cooperation. For individual customers, we also offer the commissioning of goods. At the headquarters in Bötzow, near Berlin, storage is offered in weather-independent halls or on open spaces.
On the one hand, we have regular customers with successful long-term business relationships. On the other hand, we implement the wishes of our new customers with a great deal of professionalism and commitment. New challenges are accepted by us and rewarded with the highest customer satisfaction.
Hans Liese Spedition has been a family business since 1932.
History
The history of Hans Liese Spedition
The success story of Hans Liese Spedition began in 1932, when Hans Liese, who gave the company its name, founded a small company in Berlin with the aim of establishing himself in long-distance freight transport. Two Daimler Benz trucks are in use, but are called up by the Wehrmacht in 1939. The turmoil of the Second World War briefly halts the development of the company, but cannot shake the ambition of the company founder. In 1946, Hans Liese returns from war captivity and rebuilds a shot-up fire brigade truck. The special thing about it: It was powered by a so-called Holzkocher engine, a wood carburettor.
The name Liese establishes itself in the local goods transport sector in Berlin after the war. In 1948 and 1949, the company transports everyday goods from Berlin's Tegel and Tempelhof airports to various warehouses in the destroyed city for the Allied airlift. When the 10,000th commercial vehicle from the post-war production of the Büssing company (Braunschweig) rolled off the production line in 1950, the buyer's name was Hans Liese. A fact that still fascinates vehicle nostalgics today.
The development of the next decades is characterised by expansion. The haulage company grows and moves several times within Berlin. In 1978, company founder Hans Liese dies. When his son Hans-Georg takes over the company, the word "Spedition" appears for the first time. From then on, the company trades as "Hans Liese Spedition".
In 1993, the company turned its back on Berlin and moved to Bötzow in the surrounding area. This is still the headquarters of the forwarding company today. In the meantime, locations are maintained in Groß Ammensleben near Haldensleben (Saxony-Anhalt) and Schönerlinde near Berlin (Brandenburg). The company's family roots extend right up to the present day. After Andreas Liese joined the company in 1986, his brother Alexander also followed in 2000. With Hans-Georg Liese's retirement in 2005, his sons Andreas and Alexander became partners and successfully run a forwarding company that is well established in the market.

Vehicle fleet
In order to be able to handle even the most demanding transports
There are more than 30 trucks in the Hans Liese Spedition fleet, which enable the administrative and operational processing of orders.
The composition of the vehicle fleet results from the core business. Building materials logistics requires a lot of flexibility and special technology. Hans Liese Spedition has responded to these requirements with different types of trucks.
The use of cranes and forklifts is essential for almost every transport operation. Several articulated lorries with construction material cranes, tipper semi-trailers and articulated lorries with all-terrain transportable forklifts are ready and waiting. In order to be able to realise even the most demanding transports, two special cranes are used. Their jibs can be extended to a length of more than 25 metres. The fleet is completed by a large number of smaller service and lifting platform vehicles.
Of course, the entire fleet of vehicles is regularly serviced and maintained. The drivers reliably deliver to the customer and place the load exactly where it is desired. They are trained and educated in-house for this purpose.
